Mammootty’s gangster drama 'Bazooka' faces 6 cuts before release

Kochi: Mammootty's highly anticipated film, Bazooka, is all set to hit theatres on April 10. Ahead of release, the film’s censor details have been revealed, with the movie receiving a UA certificate from the Censor Board.

The board had suggested changes in six parts of the film, including replacing the word "LSD" and muting some swear words.

The final duration of the film is 154.27 minutes.

Directed by Deeno Dennis, Bazooka stars Mammootty alongside ace director and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is also part of the cast. Menon previously directed Mammootty in Dominic and the Ladies Purse, adding to the excitement surrounding the project. The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Iswarya Menon, Sidharth Bharathan, Babu Antony, Shine Tom Chacko, and more.

The film is produced by Vikram Mehra, Sidharth Anand Kumar, Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V Abhraham, with Sahil S Sharma as the co-producer. Music for the film is composed by Midhun Mukundan, with Nimish Ravi handling cinematography. Editing is done by Nishadh Yusuf, while the action sequences are choreographed by Mahesh Mathew, Vicky, PC Stunts, and Mafia Sasi.

As advance bookings open, expectations are high for Bazooka, and if the initial reviews are positive, the film is poised to make a major impact at the box office.
