‘Your phone won’t stop ringing!’ Ram Charan on Anaswara Rajan’s Telugu debut | WATCH

Hyderabad: Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan is set to make her Telugu debut with the film Champion, and praise from leading Telugu stars at the film’s audio launch has already put the spotlight firmly on her.
The audio launch of Champion, which is scheduled for release on the 25th of this month, was held in Hyderabad recently. Actor Ram Charan Teja’s comments about Anaswara at the event have since gone viral on social media, with many highlighting his prediction that she will soon be in high demand in Telugu cinema.
Commending her dedication, Ram Charan said he was impressed by the fact that Anaswara learned Telugu and dubbed for her role herself, despite Malayalam being her mother tongue. “I must speak about Anaswara Rajan specifically. I must tell you two things for sure. First, after this movie, you will keep getting calls for many big films. The best production houses and the best directors will call you, so be prepared,” he said.
Praising her screen presence, he added, “Your performance is approachable and likeable. I feel you have a very bright future in the Indian film industry.” Ram Charan also remarked that such commitment to learning the language and dubbing independently was rare, and said he was deeply impressed by her passion and professionalism.
Filmmaker Nag Ashwin, best known for Mahanati and Kalki, also lauded Anaswara at the event. “Anaswara, I am your fan. Once this film is released, you will become a favourite of many. Keep choosing films like this,” he said.
Champion is a period sports drama directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Pradeep Advaitam. The film stars Roshan Meka in the lead role and is jointly produced by Swapna Cinemas, Anandi Art Creations, Concept Films and Zee Studios.
