Respected all,

Since I have no interest in putting on an act, I hereby inform you that I am permanently withdrawing from all activities related to the AMMA organisation. This decision is not born out of fear of anyone.

During the past eight years of my involvement with AMMA, I have mostly received only allegations and slander as my reward. However, the advice and support I received from fellow members will remain in my heart until my last breath. Over the past 10 months, the committee was able to accomplish a number of good initiatives. It was with the intention of continuing that progress that I had decided to contest again.

When it was announced that Lalettan (Mohanlal) would not be part of the committee, I too wished to step down. But back then, all the members urged me to stay. Now, with this wave of accusations, it has become too difficult for me to continue focusing on organisational matters. I could have been defeated in the election — that would have been the democratic way. But this situation is beyond what I can personally bear.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the members who believed in me and supported me throughout. I wish the AMMA the very best for the future. May only good things happen to everyone.

With love,

Babu Raj Jacob
