Did Akshay Kumar leave Bigg Boss set without shooting due to Salman Khan’s Delay? Host explains

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who made an appearance on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 on Sunday, ended up leaving the show without filming any segments. The actor, along with Veer Pahariya, had come to promote their upcoming movie Sky Force, set to release on January 24, 2025.

However, things took a turn when Akshay had to leave prematurely. Salman Khan, hosting the show, revealed the reason behind Akshay’s absence, explaining that Akshay’s schedule was tight and he had to attend another event. "Akki (Akshay Kumar) is also in the film, I got little late and he had to leave for another function so he left," Salman shared.

Sky Force is an action-packed thriller in which Akshay Kumar plays an Air Force officer on a mission of revenge after losing fellow soldiers. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the film also stars debutant Veer Pahariya as an IAF officer, alongside Sara Ali Khan as his (Veer's) wife and Nimrat Kaur in a pivotal role.

At the trailer launch earlier this month, Akshay spoke about his deep connection to the military, saying, “My father was in the army, so this feeling is inbuilt in me. When I wear a uniform, it automatically imbues me with strength. I've worn different uniforms before, but this is the first time I am donning the Indian Air Force uniform.”

Meanwhile, Karan Veer lifted the Colors Big Boss Trophy on early Monday. The top four finalists were Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal and Avinash Mishra alongside Karan.
