Chennai: Actor Ajith Kumar continues to make waves off-screen as well, this time with his racing team grabbing a podium finish at one of the most iconic circuits in the world. Ajith Kumar Racing clinched second place at the prestigious Spa Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium — a major win for Indian motorsport.

The team shared the big news on social media, writing on X 
“A proud moment for Indian motorsport! #AjithKumar and his team secure a remarkable P2 podium finish at the prestigious Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. A testament to passion, precision, and perseverance on the global racing stage.”

Fans in Belgium turned up in large numbers to cheer for Ajith, who was seen celebrating with his team on the podium. A video of the celebrations, posted by Ajith Kumar Racing, shows the crowd surrounding the actor.

“The crowd swells, and so does the love! People of Belgium form a beeline to meet their idol! In cinema and sports, #AK continues to spread positivity wherever he goes! A true global icon,” the team posted.

Earlier, the team also shared a live stream from the race, giving fans a chance to see Ajith in action behind the wheel.

Ajith’s journey in motorsport has been steadily gaining momentum. This latest second-place finish is the team’s third major achievement in just under four months. They previously bagged third place in both the 24H Dubai 2025 (991 category) and 12H Mugello races in Italy.
