Kochi: The third part of Lucifer will be a bigger film than Empuraan, said Mohanlal.  He was speaking at a press conference held in Kochi on Wednesday evening. The star actor expressed his gratitude to all the viewers who have been eagerly waiting for the film. He mentioned that Empuraan has grown to such an extent that it feels like a dream.

"The success of Lucifer marked the beginning of Empuraan. This story is being told across three films. The framework of the story is already in place. From the very beginning, it was clear that this story could not be told in a single film. We announced Empuraan on the 50th day of Lucifer. At that time, we never imagined it would become such a massive film. But now, as we approach the end of Empuraan, we are saying that there will be a third part. That too has the potential to become an even bigger film. I pray that it happens," said Mohanlal.

Mohanlal also expressed his gratitude to Empuraan's director Prithviraj Sukumaran, scriptwriter Murali Gopi and producer Antony Perumbavur. He mentioned that Antony Perumbavur has been with him for 37 years and that, since then, cinema has been his only focus.

"He dreams big. I believe he has found the right person to make those dreams a reality, and that is Prithviraj," Mohanlal added.

Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan attended the press conference.
