Actor Anoop Menon hails Health Minister K. K. Shailaja

When the health department is actively engaged in preventing the outbreak of COVID-19 in Kerala, actor Anoop Menon hailed Health Minister K. K. Shailaja’s leadership in the emergency situation. The actor took to his Facebook page to appreciate the minister.

“At last a leader, an icon to admire and emulate. Wish we had many more of this breed. No small talks, no useless banter, no manipulative jargons, none of the disgusting political opportunism...a clean, transparent space in social service. Lead on teacher,” wrote Anoop Menon.

Many people including celebrities have been showering praise on the Health Minister on account of her efforts to prevent the global epidemic. When opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala criticised the health minister, directors Manu Ashokan, B. Unnikrishnan, Vipin Das, MA Nishad, music director Shaan Rahman, actors Vinay Fort and Rima Kallingal extended support to the minister.
