‘Aasha’ drops striking second-look poster showcasing Urvashi, Joju George

The makers of ‘Aasha’ have unveiled the film’s second-look poster, offering another glimpse of the much-anticipated collaboration between Urvashi and Joju George. The new poster showcases both actors in striking frames, each sporting expressions that add to the film’s air of unpredictability.
The project, which also features Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vijayaraghavan and several other prominent names, continues to draw attention for its ensemble cast and intriguing visual cues. The latest poster suggests that ‘Aasha’ is gearing up to introduce audiences to a slate of memorable, sharply etched characters.
Urvashi’s role in the film is being positioned as one of her most layered in recent times. Her intense makeover in the earlier first-look poster – marked by a penetrating stare – had quickly gone viral across social platforms. Joju George, meanwhile, appears in a radically different look from anything in his past filmography, reinforcing expectations of a performance that breaks away from his established screen image.
The cast also includes Ramesh Girija, known for ‘Pani’, who joins the film in a noteworthy role. Backed by Ajith Vinayaka Films and produced by Vinayaka Ajith, ‘Aasha’ is set to release in five languages. It marks the production banner’s next major release following titles such as ‘Ponman’, ‘Gaganachari’, ‘Bandra’, ‘Madanolsavam’ and ‘Sarkeet’. In recent weeks, the makers have rolled out a steady promotional campaign, including the title-look and first-look posters, both of which sparked considerable online discussion.
The film marks the directorial debut of Safar Sanal, who has also co-written the screenplay and dialogues with Joju George and Ramesh Girija. The film’s cinematography is handled by Madhu Neelakandan, with music composed by Midhun Mukundan.
