Rakshita made her Bollywood debut with "Yaane Yaane" for the movie 'Mimi', which was composed by A.R Rahman. She also had worked in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu cinema.

She went on to say that she was disappointed in not being able to travel for the film's audio launch. "Bummed I couldn’t make it to the audio launch as I was travelling for a concert, but so incredibly happy to be a part of this beautiful track along with the amazing @IAMVIJAYYESUDAS @Chinmayi."

Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the lead role as Najeeb, a Malayali who finds himself forced into slavery as a goatherd on a farm in Saudi Arabia.
