Abu Dhabi/Dubai: A traditional Ganga Aarti, usually seen on the banks of the Ganga in India, is now being performed in the heart of the UAE and it's leaving visitors deeply moved.

Recently, Indian influencer Akash Kawale, who shifted to Dubai, visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. Just three weeks into his move, Akash took a short trip to explore the temple, and what he found was beyond his expectations.

“I witnessed Ganga Aarti in UAE,” he shared in a now-viral video on Instagram, giving viewers a glimpse of the peaceful and spiritual experience.

His video shows his full journey, entering the temple, walking through the beautiful architecture, and finally attending the evening aarti.

The BAPS Hindu Mandir is the first traditional Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. Spread across 27 acres, the temple has quickly become a spiritual and cultural center for Indians living in the UAE. Many Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Tiger Shroff, have also visited the temple, making it even more popular among the Indian community.

What is Ganga Aarti?

Ganga Aarti is a sacred Hindu ritual performed in praise of the River Ganga. It is most commonly held in cities like Varanasi, Rishikesh and Haridwar in India. The aarti involves singing devotional songs, lighting lamps, and offering prayers to the river.

Travel Time: Around 1 hour by car from Dubai

Timings: The BAPS Hindu Mandir is open to visitors every day except Monday, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (Tuesday to Sunday). The Ganga Aarti is performed at 7:30 pm on weekdays, and at 6:45 pm and 7:30 pm on weekends and public holidays.
