Kamolwan Chanago, Miss Grand Pathum Thani, recently became the centre of attention online after an unexpected moment during the preliminary rounds of Miss Grand Thailand 2026. Rather than letting the mishap faze her, she handled it with remarkable composure, and the video quickly went viral.

Kamolwan Chanago, representing Pathum Thani, was introducing herself on stage when her false teeth suddenly fell out. The mishap occurred live during the pageant’s preliminary competition on Wednesday. The video of the incident, shared by The Urban Herald on Instagram on 27 March, shows Kamolwan beginning her speech with confidence. Partway through, her veneers slipped, creating an unforeseen moment in front of a large audience.

Composure under pressure

Rather than panicking or leaving the stage, Kamolwan turned discreetly away from the cameras, adjusted her veneers, and continued her introduction without missing a word. The audience responded with loud cheers, recognising her calm and determined approach.

Spurred on by the applause, she carried on confidently with her rampwalk. Striking a pose in a shimmering evening gown, Kamolwan even smiled for the cameras, demonstrating remarkable grace under pressure.

The Miss Grand Thailand 2026 finale is scheduled for 28 March at the MGI Hall, Bravo BKK Mall in Bangkok. The winner will be crowned by Miss Grand Thailand 2025, Sarunrat Gotchabell Puagpipat. The eventual titleholder will then represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in October, which will be held in India.
