Ranipuram promises amusing trekking experience with renovated roads

Kasaragod: Ranipuram is hailed as one of the magnificent tourist attractions of Kasaragod that offers a rip-roaring trekking experience for visitors. Though the meadows and hills here always allured the visitors, the poor condition of roads had remained a challenge to mount these ranges. However, the authorities have resolved this in order to transform Ranipuram into the paradise of travel lovers.
Ranipuram is a forest range spreading across 139 hectares of land. It is located in the Panathady panchayath sharing the borders with Karnataka. A considerable rise could be seen in the number of visitors arriving at Ranipuram recently.
Tourists can reach Ranipuram by travelling 48 kilometres to the east from Kanhangad. The well-preferred destinations in Karnataka such as Coorg, Kushalnagar and Mysuru are the neighbours of Ranipuram. Talakaveri is only 40 kilometres away from Ranipuram, while Coorg and Erumad dargah are 60 kilometres away each.
Visitors equate the weather of Ranipuram to that of Ooty. These hill ranges wrapped in the mist would be an ideal spot to refresh both mind and body.
