Effective July 22, entry tickets for the Kerala Hydel Tourism Center at Banasura Sagar can now only be purchased online. Tourists can book tickets through the official website, https://www.keralahydeltourism.com/, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Situated 20 kilometres from Kalpetta, the district headquarters, Banasura Sagar is easily accessible via a less crowded route from Pookode lakeside. Visitors can explore the area year-round, with the highlight being a scenic boat ride covering approximately seven kilometres across the lake.
