Shami Kebab to spice up your evenings

Shami Kebab is a yummy special snack that can be made with chicken, mutton or veggies.
They are juicy minced patties with chana dal, spicy masala filling inside and a crispy outer crust. It goes well with coriander or mint chutney and ketchup.
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken- 500 gm
- chana dal soaked for 30 mins- 1 cup
- cumin seeds- 1 tsp
- Cloves- 7-8
- black peppercorns- 7-8
- Cinnamon- 2 sticks
- coriander seeds- 2 tsp
- carom seeds- 1 tsp
- red chilli- 3
- chilli flakes- ½ tsp
- Ginger finely chopped- 1 tsp
- Green Chillies- 2
- Garlic finely chopped- 2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves chopped- 1/2 cup
- Mint Leaves chopped- 1/2 cup
- Eggs- 2
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Water- 1 cup
Procedure
First, take a pressure cooker and add some oil to it. Add cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, coriander seeds, cardamom seeds, dry red chilli and red chilli flakes into it one by one. Saute the ingredients for 2 minutes.
Then, add the soaked chana dal and mix it well. Later, add the boneless chicken pieces, salt and water. Cook the chicken until it is tender in simmer. Let it cool.
Take a blender and blend all the ingredients into a thick paste. Then add green chillies, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Combine all the ingredients by giving a good mix.
Add an egg to the meat mixture and mix. Shape the mixture as flats or geoids. Break the second egg in a separate bowl.
Take a pan and heat some oil. Take one patty and dip in the egg. Shallow fry until golden brown. Shallow fry the other patties also. Serve hot
