KEAM 2026 registration begins: Apply for engineering, medical, pharmacy and architecture courses

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has invited applications for Admission to Kerala Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy/ Medical & Medical Allied Courses, Kerala, for the academic year 2026-27.

Applications have been invited for the following courses:

(A) Medical Courses- MBBS, BDS, BHMS, (Homoeo), BAMS (Ayurveda), BSMS (Siddha), BUMS (Unani)

(B) Medical Allied Courses- BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture, BSc. (Hons.) Forestry, BSc. (Hons.) Co-operation & Banking/BSc. (Hons) Agri. Business Management, BSc. (Hons.) Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech (Bio-Technology) (under Kerala Agricultural University), BVSc. & AH (Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry), BFSc. (Fisheries Science)

(C) Engineering Courses- B. Tech. Courses (Including those under Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies

(D) Pharmacy Course- B. Pharm.

(E) Architecture Course- B.Arch.

Entrance Examinations conducted by CEE or specified agencies will be considered for admission to these courses. CEE will conduct Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering & Pharmacy Courses only.

Admission to Engineering Courses is based on the Engineering rank list prepared by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the Normalized score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, after effecting the Normalisation procedure and considering the normalised marks for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the ratio 5:3:2, as described in KEAM-2026 Prospectus.

Admission to the B.Pharm course is regulated on the basis of marks obtained in the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination after normalisation, and the rank list is prepared based on this, as explained in the Prospectus.

Those seeking admission to any of the Medical courses should compulsorily appear and qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET UG) 2026, to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Those desirous of admission to Medical Allied courses should appear for NEET UG 2026 and score 20 marks out of 720 (not applicable to SC/ST candidates). Admission to these courses will be based on rank/mark in NEET-UG 2026 and the Kerala Medical Rank list prepared based on it.

Those seeking admission to B.Arch. The course should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) on or before 30.06.2026. The Architecture Rank list will be prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in NATA (2025/2026), subject to qualifying in NATA as per the conditions in the Information Brochure (2025/2026) and the marks in the qualifying examination.

The minimum eligibility for admission to the courses is generally a pass in the Higher Secondary course/equivalent course in the science stream with specified subjects and marks. Details related to the eligibility, including Nativity, academic qualification, Mark requirement and relaxation in marks, Age, Structure of Entrance Examinations, Rank list preparation, Allotment, Reservations, and all other details related to KEAM 2026 are given in the Notification/Prospectus.

Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in, latest by 5 pm on 31.1.2026. One should submit only one application irrespective of the number of streams/courses applied. Applicants shall ensure that the mobile number and email ID provided in the online application are their own or those of their parents or guardians only. Applicants should upload SSLC or equivalent certificate, recent Photo (taken within six months), Signature, proof of Date of birth, and Nativity along with the Online application within the above date. The application fee, as notified, has to be paid online within this time limit. The other eligibility certificates and documents can be uploaded by 5 pm on 7.02.2026. Applicants are not required to send a printout of the Acknowledgement page or any other documents to the Office of the CEE.

The Engineering and Pharmacy Entrance Examinations (Computer-Based Test) will be held at selected venues in all Districts in Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and the UAE during 17.04.2026 and 23.04.2026 as per the schedule in the Notification/Prospectus.

The results of the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination will be announced on or before 10.05.2026. Rank lists of Engineering and B.Pharm Courses will be published on or before 20.06.2026.
