Navodaya Vidyalaya extends JNVST 2026 application deadline for Class 6 admission till August 13

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India, has extended the last date of submission of online applications for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for 2026.
Applications can be submitted online at https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/ up to 13th August, 2025.
There is no application fee.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are co-educational residential schools fully financed and administered by the Government of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
Presently the JNVs are spread in 27 states and 8 union territories. The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and thereafter English for mathematics and science and Hindi for social science. Students of the JNVs appear for board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
