Executive Trainee at GAIL (India) Limited: Selection based on GATE 2023
GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna PSU and India’s flagship Natural Gas company has invited applications from committed, vibrant and passionate young Graduate Engineers for filling up various posts by using GATE-2023 marks.
Positions and the prescribed educational qualification are as follows:
Executive Trainee (Chemical): Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Chemical/Petrochemical /Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology /Chemical Technology & Polymer Science/ Chemical Technology & Plastic Technology with minimum 65% marks.
Executive Trainee (Civil): Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil with minimum 65% marks.
Executive Trainee (GAILTEL TC/TM- Telecom / Telemetry): Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Telecommunication with minimum 65% marks.
Executive Trainee (BIS- Business Information System): Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology with minimum 65% marks or Bachelor Degree with minimum 60% marks and 3 years Master’s Degree in Computer Application (MCA) with minimum 65 % marks.
SC, ST and PwBD category applicants will get 5% relaxation in marks in the qualifying examination.
Those with 5 years B.E / B. Tech. + M.E / M. Tech. integrated dual degree in engineering in relevant discipline shall also be considered.
Candidates who have completed their Bachelor degree in Engineering / MCA Degree [for ET (BIS) only] in relevant discipline/ branch in the year 2021 or earlier are not eligible to apply.

Applicants need to have GATE 2023 score in the relevant discipline as follows: Executive Trainee (Chemical)- Chemical Engineering (CH); Executive Trainee (Civil)- Civil Engineering (CE); Executive Trainee (GAILTEL TC/TM) - Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC); Executive Trainee (BIS)- Computer Science & Information Technology (CS).
