Junior Research Fellow positions at Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board Dehradun
Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board (UPCB), Gaura Devi Paryavaran Bhawan, 46-B, IT Park, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, has invited applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) temporary positions.
JRFs are to assist officers for various works related to management of Solid Waste / Plastic Waste/BMW and for laboratories established under NMCG.
The positions, number of positions, duration etc; are as follows:
Junior Research Fellow (for assisting day to day Board's functioning)
10 positions (Head Office, Dehradun-06; Regional Office, Dehradun-02, Regional Office, Haldwani-02). JRF has to assist in day to day Board’s activities and shall be appointed for a period of one year. Subsequently renewal and/or upgradation shall be based on candidate's performance.
Junior Research Fellow (for NMCG)
07 positions (Central Lab -02, Regional Office, Kashipur Lab- 03, Regional Office, Roorkee Lab- 02). Services of JRF under NMCG shall be up to the duration of project and any upgradation shall be subject to direction of NMCG.
Eligibility for both Positions
Post Graduation in Chemistry/ Environment Science/Micro Biology/ Bio-Chemistry or Post-Graduation in Chemical/Environmental/ Bio-Chemical Engineering. Applicants should have Valid GATE or NET.
Age limit is 35 years (as on date of publication of the advertisement).
Remuneration will be Rs. 37000/- + Applicable HRA/Month.
The posts are purely temporary.
