Teaching jobs in Haryana: HPSC announces 1,711 PGT vacancies with salary up to ₹1.5 lakh

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has opened recruitment for 1711 vacancies for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Computer Science. This is a promising opportunity for candidates seeking teaching jobs in the public sector. Interested applicants must apply online by 5 pm on May 2, 2025. Eligibility criteria and educational qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks or hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology along with a B.Ed. qualification. Proficiency in Hindi is required. Moreover, applicants must have passed either the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).

Age limit and application fee

The minimum age to apply is 18 years, and the maximum age is 42 years. For General category candidates, the application fee is ₹1,000. Women and SC/ST candidates will have to pay ₹250. Disabled candidates are exempted from the application fee.

Select the New Registeration option

Upload the necessary details and submit the documents

Pay the applicable fee and submit the form

Keep a printout of the completed application for future reference

The selection procedure includes a screening test followed by a subject knowledge test. Once the selection process concludes, successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100 under the pay scale specified for the role.
