Research Capacity Building Programme of GIFT and KSHEC

Gulati Institute of Finance Taxation (GIFT), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to the Research Capacity Building Programme (RCBP) 2023-24 offered in collaboration with the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) and aimed at making meaningful interventions towards enhancing cognitive skills and quality of research, teaching and learning outcomes.
RCBP is a certificate program designed to meet the needs of researchers and teachers. It offers 60 hours of immersive teaching, serving as an engaging platform, both offline and online, to enhance research capabilities.
The RCBP curriculum consists of (i) Introduction to Social Science Research: An Interdisciplinary Perspective (ii) Research Methods, Statistical Analysis and Basic Econometrics (iii) Data Structure, Data Processing and Databases for Research (iv) Data Analytics for Research with R (v) Extensions and Basic Research Methods and (vi) Qualitative Research, Academic Writing and Research Ethics.
The program is envisioned to operate in a hybrid mode with 36 hours conducted offline and the remaining 24 hours delivered online.
The minimum qualification for joining RCBP is a Post- Graduate (PG) degree in any social science discipline. Those registered for PhD, final year PG students from social science disciplines and Scholars from other disciplines interested in social science research are also eligible.
Applications can be submitted online along with enclosures latest by 25th January 2024, through the Google Form link given at the Program page that can be accessed through the Notification link at https://www.gift.res.in/. Application fee also has to be paid by this time limit.
