PhD admissions at Netaji Subhas University of Technology New Delhi
Netaji Subhas University of Technology, a State University of Government of NCT of Delhi (Formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology), Azad Hind Fauj Marg, Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078 has invited application for PhD admissions of even semester (Winter) 2023-24.
PhD Program are offered in the disciplines of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Civil Engineering (CIVIL), Biological Sciences Engineering (BSE), Geoinformatics, Design, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Management for the academic year 2023-24 (Winter).
The categories of admissions are (a) Research Scholars- University Research Fellow (URF) (b) Research Scholars with fellowship from other sponsoring agencies (UGC/DST/CSIR/ DBT/ICMR etc.) (c) Research Scholars without any fellowship (Self-financing mode).
Eligibility: (a) Engineering/Technology/Management: An applicant possessing Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Engineering/Technology/Management in the respective discipline with a first class/60% or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in any one of the Degree shall be eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. programme of the University in Engineering/Technology/Management streams.
(b) Sciences: An applicant possessing a Master’s Degree in Sciences in the respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. programme of the University in Sciences
There shall be no age limit for admission to Ph.D. programme of the University.

Maximum number of intake under all the above categories, for the Summer Semester is 299. Out of these seats the maximum intake for University Research Fellow (URF) is 93, with a fellowship of Rs. 32,500/- per month. After 2 years of URF may be enhanced to Rs. 36,000/- per month subject to fulfilment of the conditions laid down by the Research Council of the University. PhD Regulations available at the University website is applicable to all categories.
