Apply for Post Graduate Certificate Course in Nutrition from National Institute of Nutrition

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Tarnaka Metro Station, Jamai-Osmania PO, Hyderabad, Telangana - 500 007, has invited applications for admission to the Post-Graduate Certificate Course in Nutrition (PGCCN), of 10 weeks’ duration, to be conducted from 6th January to 18th March 2025. 

The course is conducted offline only and includes field visits/ studies. Hence, physical attendance during the entire course is compulsory. 

Eligibility

Applicant should hold (i) A Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/ Physiology/Food & Nutrition/Dietetics/ Biology/Zoology)/ Biomedical Sciences or (ii) A basic degree in Medical Health Sciences (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT/BUMS/Bachelor of Naturopathy/ Pharmacy & Allied Sciences) 

Age should be below 50 years.

Registration fee is Rs. 1,000/- to be paid by way of Demand Draft in favor of The Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.

Filled-in form along with a set of xerox copies of the certificates should reach ‘The Head of the Department, Extension & Training, ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Beside Tarnaka Metro Station, Jamai-Osmania PO, Hyderabad. Telangana -500 007’, by post/ courier/ hand by 22nd November, 2024.

The intake of candidates for the course is 20. Preference would be given to professionals and employees who are working in the fields of Health and Nutrition. 

Tuition fee is Rs. 50,000/- to be paid after confirmation of admission. Payment has to be made by demand draft drawn in favour of ‘The Director, National Institute of Nutrition’, payable at Hyderabad on any Nationalized Bank. Hostel accommodation will be provided to out station candidates on payment of applicable charges. 

Those in government service should produce ‘No Objection’ certificate issued by the competent authority. No stipend will be paid for both in-service and private candidates
