The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially resumed the NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling process with a revised schedule, allowing for fresh registrations and the inclusion of significant new seat additions.

The resumption follows a brief suspension of the choice-locking facility due to pending matters in the Supreme Court. The updated timeline is designed to accommodate new eligible candidates and additional institutional vacancies.

Revised Round 3 Schedule

According to the latest notice issued by the MCC, the following deadlines are now in effect:

Event Timeline
Fresh Registration/Payment January 30 to January 31, 2026 (up to 2:00 PM; Payment until 5:00 PM)
Choice Filling Window January 31 to February 2, 2026 (up to 11:55 AM)
Choice Locking Facility Starts February 1, 2026 (from 8:00 PM)
Processing of Seat Allotment February 2 to February 3, 2026
Seat Allotment Result February 3, 2026
Reporting to Allotted College February 4 to February 11, 2026

Important Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates already registered for Round 3 are encouraged to review the updated seat matrix, as they are now permitted to exercise fresh choices for the newly added vacancies. MCC has clarified that choice locking must be completed before the February 2 deadline to avoid potential disqualification or reliance on last-saved preferences.

Furthermore, once a seat is allotted and joined in Round 3, candidates are strictly prohibited from resigning or surrendering that seat under the current MCC guidelines.
