MPhil course in Psychiatric Social Work at Gwalior Mansik Arogyshala
Gwalior Mansik Arogyshala, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, an autonomous Institute under the Department of Medical Education, Govt. of M.P.; affiliated to Jiwaji University; Gwalior Jail Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh - 474012, has invited applications for admission to the M. Phil course in Psychiatric Social Work for the session, 2024-26
There are 15 seats for the course of 2 years’ duration. Seat reservation will be as per M.P. Govt. rules.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold Master degree in Social Work/MSW of a recognized university/Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) with minimum 55% marks for UR/ OBC applicants and 50% marks for ST/SC applicants.
Selection: There will be a Written examination as part of the selection process which will be held from 9 a.m on 21.07.2024. It will be of 90 minutes’ duration and will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
This will be followed by Interview/Counselling to be conducted at 9 am on 22.07.2024, for those candidates who qualify the written examination.
Those selected have to join for the course on 05.08.2024.

Examination Fee: The examination fee will be Rs 1000/-for UR and OBC, Rs 500/- for ST/SC applicants of Madhya Pradesh. Fee should be remitted as Demand Draft drawn in favour of the ‘Director, Gwalior Mansik Arogyshala’, payable at Gwalior.
Filled application along with the required enclosures must reach ‘The Director, Gwalior Mansik Arogyshala, Jail Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh -474012’, latest by 5 pm on 05.07.2024.
Applicants must enclose photocopies of educational qualifications with the application form as per the checklist for the enclosures, failing which they will not be considered for entrance examination. Applicants must produce the original certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, caste certificates/residential/disability certificates if applicable, and other relevant documents at the time of written entrance examination.
Those appearing in their final year/semester PG examination can also apply but they must submit the proof of having passed the final year PG examination at the time of Counselling / Interview.
