Ksharakarma Technician course at All India Institute of Ayurveda

All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India; Gautampuri, Sarita Vihar, Mathura road, New Delhi-110076, has invited applications for admission to the One Year Ksharakarma technician course for academic year 2024- 25, affiliated with Health Sector skill council (HSSC) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Ksharakarma is one kind of surgical procedure and it is widely accepted for management for Ano - Rectal disorders. The course curriculum includes study about the materials used in preparation of various types of Kshara & Ksharasutra, Kshara medicaments, standardization of Ksharasutra, sterilization, storage & packing; Cleaning & drying of proctoscopes, probes, preparation of surgical drum for sterilization etc., SOP and protocols with respect to preoperative and postoperative care of Ksharakarma; process of sterilization of instruments and OT fumigation, collection of swab report for culture; the basic function of IRC, Laser, electro-cautery, multipara Monitor Ksharakarma cabinet, succinate apparatus and other equipment available at AIIA; ethical responsibilities in patient care etc.

Eligibility: Applicant should have passed 10 +2 with Science from any recognized school by state board/ CBSE/ICSE or any other, recognized by Govt. of India. 

Age: Age should be between 18 -35 years. Applicant must be physically fit along with good physical and mental endurance. 

Selection will be on merit basis based on 10+2 marks.

Application Fee is Rs.350/ (Rs.150/- for SC & ST Candidates). It is to be paid by way of Bank Demand Draft in favour of ‘Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda’, payable at New Delhi.
