KEAM 2025 stray vacancy round open: Apply now for AYUSH and medical allied courses

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has opened the facility for candidates to register fresh options for the KEAM 2025 stray vacancy allotment in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, and Medical Allied courses. This comes after the third phase of allotment, aimed at filling vacancies in both government and self-financing colleges.

Candidates included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by CEE can submit their options online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in under the ‘Stray Vacancy Option Registration’ menu until 12:30 pm on 10 November 2025. Registration requires a fee of ₹5,000 for general candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/OEC categories. The fee for candidates who secure a seat will be adjusted towards the tuition, while those who remain unallotted will receive a refund.

Applicants are advised to select only the colleges and courses where they genuinely wish to study. Seats allotted through the stray vacancy round are final and cannot be changed. The allotment process will consider systemic and technical factors, and preliminary reports hinting at candidate fault are not grounds for disqualification.

Provisional allotments will be published on 11 November, with final allotments released on 12 November 2025. Candidates allotted a seat must join their respective colleges between 13 and 15 November, completing fee formalities as per the allotment memo. Failure to join will result in penalties under KEAM Prospectus clause 12.2.4, and such candidates will not be eligible for subsequent stray vacancy rounds.
