Five Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Indore

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has invited applications for admission to the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for 2024-29 Batch.

The Program aims to produce contextually relevant, socially-conscious managers and leaders with a foundation of world class education in social sciences followed by management education. The Programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months. IPM is in two parts - the first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on management. After 3 years of intensive study of foundational disciplines, the IPM students train as managers along with the students of the Institute’s 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), undertaking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5. 

At the end of the five year Integrated Programme, the participants would be awarded with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Programme) by IIM Indore on successful completion of programme requirements. There is also an exit option after successful completion of the third year of the Programme, 

Eligibility: Applicant should have been born on or after August 01, 2004. Relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is given to those from SC/ST/PwD category. Those in these categories born on or after August 01, 1999 are eligible to apply. 

Qualifying Exam: Applicant should have passed standard X/ SSC. Applicants should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 or should be appearing in 2024. 

Those who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31, 2024 can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT) to be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm on May 23, 2024 (Thursday) across 36 cities (tentatively) in the country as per the details given in the Admission Procedure link at www.iimidr.ac.in (Academic Programs > Five year Integrated Program in Management > Admissions links).

There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test, namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ). Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section which will not carry any negative marking. Candidates must answer the sections in a pre-specified order and this order will remain the same for all the candidates. Details are given in the Admission procedure.

Only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test will be short listed for Personal Interview (PI). The minimum cut off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. 

Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) by giving weight of 65 to Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and 35 to Personal Interview (PI).

The Sanctioned intake for IPM 2024 batch (Domestic Applicants) is 150.

Application fee of Rs. 4,130/- (Rs. 2,065/- for SC/ST/PwD category candidates) is to be paid online.
