M.Sc Forensic Science at CUSAT: Apply by October 26

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, Kerala -682022, has invited applications for admission to the newly started M.Sc Forensic Science Programme, for the academic year 2020-21.

There are 15 seats for the course. Supernumerary Seats are available for (i) Police Personnel in service, Sponsored by Kerala Police Academy (5 seats) (ii) Differently Abled Candidates (DAC) (1) (iii) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (2) and (iv) Transgenders (TG) (2)

Eligibility: Applicant should hold B.Sc Degree in Forensic Science/B.Voc Forensic Science/B.Voc Applied Microbiology & Forensic Science/B.Sc Zoology/B.Sc Botany/B.Sc Chemistry/B.Sc Physics/B.Sc Microbiology/B.Sc Medical Microbiology/B.Sc Biochemistry/B.Sc Medical Biotechnology/B.Sc Biotechnology/B.Sc Genetics/B.Tech Computer Science/B.Tech Information Technology/Bachelor of Computer Applications/B.Sc Computer Science/B.Sc Information Technology with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University/Institute. Applicable relaxation as per rules will be followed in the case of SC/ST/SEBC/OBC/OEC candidates.

Application Fee is Rs.1100/- for General/OBC and Rs.500/- for Kerala SC/Kerala ST.

Those who have applied for other programmes of CUSAT earlier (during Jan-Feb 2020) can also apply for MSc Forensic Science provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course. Such candidates need not pay any additional application fee.
