Apply now for BCA and BBA Programs under APJAK Technological University Kerala

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University has invited applications for admission to the four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (Hons.) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) (Hons.) programmes for the academic year 2025–26 in the institutions affiliated with the university.
The process of invitation of application, conduct of entrance examination, and centralised allotment will be done by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology.
The tentative list of 19 colleges offering BCA and the list of 20 colleges offering BBA under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University are given as Annexure I of the BCA/BBA Prospectus at www.lbscentre.in
Categorisation of Seats: The seats available are categorized as government seats and management seats. Government seats are those seats against which allotment will be made by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, based on the rank list published by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Management seats are those seats set apart in self-financing institutions to be filled up by the management concerned. For management seats, preference will be given to those who qualify in the entrance examination.
Eligibility: For admission to BCA, applicant should have a pass in Higher Secondary or any other examination recognized as equivalent or a pass in diploma in Engineering/Commercial Practice or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST applicants)
BBA: Applicant should have a pass in Higher Secondary or equivalent thereto with any subject combination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST students).
Selection: Admission to these programs will be based on the entrance examinations to be conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology. The entrance examinations will be held offline (OMR-based) and will be 90 minutes in duration, having multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a maximum of 100 marks. For the BCA Entrance Examination, there will be 25 questions each from (i) General English, (ii) Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, (iii) General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and (iv) Computer Awareness.
For the BBA Entrance Examination, questions will be from (i) General English (35 questions), (ii) Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (25), (iii) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (25), and (iv) Management Aptitude (15).
For both the examinations, each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Questions will be in English.
Those who secured marks above zero will be included in the rank list. Tie-breaking rules in case more than one candidate gets the same marks in the entrance examination have been explained in the respective prospectus.
The entrance examinations will be held at selected centers on a date to be notified later.

The application fee is Rs. 1300/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST candidates). The amount can be paid online.
Counselling and Allotment Process: Allotment will be made through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) to be conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology based on the options to be submitted online by the candidates who have been included in the respective rank lists. Candidates allotted seats must report to the allotted institution with original documents and complete admission formalities.
The final list of colleges included for CAP 2025-26 will be published on the website later. Approved intake will be subject to the affiliation sanctioned by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
The fee structure for the programs will be as decided by the government from time to time.
