Exclusive look at new Tata Sierra; check its features | WATCH

The Tata Sierra 2025 is set to make its official debut on 25 November, marking the return of one of Tata Motors’ most recognisable nameplates. First launched in 1991 and discontinued in 2003, the Sierra is coming back as a modern SUV loaded with new technology and features that are being introduced for the first time in a Tata vehicle.
Tata Motors has confirmed several upgrades that position the Sierra 2025 as a more advanced and premium product. Among these, five features stand out for being completely new to the brand.
Triple-screen display inside the cabin
One of the biggest highlights of the Sierra 2025 is its triple-screen layout. This is the first time Tata will offer three separate displays in a single vehicle.
- A fully digital driver’s instrument cluster
- A central infotainment touchscreen
- A dedicated screen for the front passenger
The setup is designed to improve usability and create a more immersive cabin experience.
Extendable sun visors with an additional lower visor
The Sierra 2025 introduces extendable sun visors that come with an extra lower visor panel. This feature helps block harsh sunlight more effectively and reduces glare from multiple angles. It is not only a first for Tata Motors but also a first in this segment.
Auxiliary tail lamp for improved visibility
Another first-time feature is the Auxiliary Tail Lamp. While most Tata vehicles already use LED tail lamps, the Sierra adds an additional auxiliary unit that improves visibility when the boot is open. This helps enhance safety during loading or unloading on roadsides or dimly lit areas.
New 1.5-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine
The Sierra will be available with multiple powertrain options, including a petrol variant powered by Tata’s new 1.5-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine. First showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the engine is expected to produce around 168 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It may come paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
Multiple petrol, diesel and electric options
Along with the new TGDi engine, Tata Motors is expected to offer the Sierra in diesel and electric versions. This aligns with the company’s strategy of offering flexible powertrain choices across different market segments.
