Limited Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition launched at ₹27.79 Lakh: Full specs and details inside

Mahindra & Mahindra has teamed up with Warner Bros., the studio behind DC’s Batman films, to introduce a limited-run special edition of its first-born electric SUV — the BE 6 Dark (Batman Edition). This exclusive version sets itself apart from other ‘Dark’ models in Mahindra’s line-up with design cues directly inspired by Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed The Dark Knight Trilogy.
Mahindra BE 6 Dark (Batman Edition): Price and bookings
Pre-orders for the Batman Edition will go live on August 23, with customer deliveries beginning September 20, timed perfectly with International Batman Day. Only 300 units will be made, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item.
The SUV is priced at ₹27.79 lakh and is aimed squarely at fans eager to drive a superhero-themed EV. Customers opting for the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition should note that home charger installation incurs additional costs, as the charger must be purchased separately. The 7.2kW unit is priced at ₹50,000, while the more powerful 11.2kW charger comes at ₹75,000.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Exterior highlights
The Batman Edition sports a satin black paint finish, complemented by bespoke Batman decals on the front doors, the Dark Knight badge on the tailgate, and the Batman logo on the fender, bumper, and reverse light housing. The SUV comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, with an optional upgrade to 20-inch rims, both featuring Bat-logo hub caps. Brake calipers and suspension springs are finished in alchemy gold for an added touch of drama.
The Infinity Roof carries the Dark Knight Trilogy emblem, while Batman projection lighting and Night Trail carpet planks complete the superhero-inspired visual theme.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Interior details
Inside, the Gotham-themed detailing continues. A brushed alchemy plaque on the dashboard indicates the edition number, reinforcing its exclusivity. The charcoal leather instrument panel features a gold halo surrounding the driver’s cockpit, while the suede and leather seats, decorated with golden accents, wear the Dark Knight Trilogy badge.
Subtle pinstripe graphics on the dashboard pay tribute to Batman’s legacy, and even the steering wheel, drive controller, electronic parking brake switch, and key fob proudly display the Bat logo.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Powertrain and range
Under the skin, the Batman Edition is expected to be based on the Pack Three variant of the BE 6. It uses a 79 kWh battery pack delivering an ARAI-certified range of 682 km on a single charge. The rear-mounted electric motor produces 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque, offering brisk performance to match its menacing looks.
