The Vivo X200T is expected to launch in India soon, with a dedicated microsite already live on Flipkart. This confirms that the handset will be sold through the e-commerce platform once it is officially unveiled.

Adding to the launch signals, the device has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with the model number V2561. Such listings usually indicate that a commercial release is close.

Reports suggest Vivo could unveil the X200T in the last week of January, likely between January 26 and January 31.

Vivo X200T: Design teaser puts cameras in the spotlight

Vivo has begun teasing the design of the X200T, focusing on its rear camera layout. The phone is shown with a circular camera module co-branded with Zeiss, housing a triple rear camera setup.

The teaser also hints at colour options, with a purple finish highlighted. Additional colour variants, including black, are also expected for the Indian market.

Expected features of Vivo X200T

According to reports, the Vivo X200T is tipped to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, with memory configurations going up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

On the software front, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS interface. Long-term support is also anticipated, with reports pointing to multiple major Android updates and extended security patches.

Photography is set to be a major focus. The X200T is expected to carry a Zeiss-tuned triple 50-megapixel rear camera system, including a Sony LYT-702 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a Samsung JN1 periscope lens, and an LYT-600 ultrawide camera.

The device could pack a large 6,200mAh battery, supported by 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Reports also point to IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

In India, the Vivo X200T is rumoured to be priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 55,000 for the base model. Its arrival comes amid a busy smartphone market, with major sales events like the Amazon Great Republic Day Sale drawing attention to competing flagship devices.
