Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch the Redmi 15C 5G in India today, December 3, 2025, marking the successor to the Redmi 14C, which debuted in January 2025.

Positioned as a budget 5G smartphone, the new device promises upgraded performance, a larger display, and a bigger battery, catering to the value-conscious segment. Post-launch, the phone is expected to be available on Amazon India and the Xiaomi India online store.

Redmi 15C 5G specifications (Expected)

The Redmi 15C 5G will feature a 6.8-inch 120Hz Adaptive Sync display, certified by TUV Rheinland, delivering smooth scrolling and vivid visuals. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.

RAM and storage options are expected to go up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Xiaomi has also teased AI-powered tools, including Google’s Circle to Search, enhancing the user experience.

The phone is said to sport a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor complemented by AI features, promising better photography and video capabilities.

The Redmi 15C 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims will retain 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. The battery life is impressive, with expected runtimes including 23.1 hours of YouTube playback, 106.9 hours of music streaming, and up to 329.7 hours of standby.

Redmi 15C 5G expected price in India

Reports suggest the Redmi 15C 5G price in India could start at Rs. 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Higher configurations may include:

6GB + 128GB – Rs. 13,999

8GB + 128GB – Rs. 14,999

If accurate, this marks a price increase over the Redmi 14C 5G, which launched at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.

The handset will reportedly come in three colour options: Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue, and Dusk Purple.
