Realme has launched its latest premium smartphone, the Realme GT 8 Pro, in India on Thursday, bringing a flagship set of features and a refreshed design. The company highlights its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and a new camera system powered by RICOH GR as key attractions, while keeping several headline features reserved for the detailed breakdown.
Realme GT 8 Pro performance
The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, featuring an 8-core CPU and an Adreno 840 GPU clocked at 1200MHz, ensuring flagship-grade performance for gaming, multitasking and high-intensity applications. It ships with realme UI 7.0, offering a refreshed interface and enhanced features.
The device is available with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, catering to both power users and those who need extensive storage capacity.
Realme GT 8 Pro design, build and colours
The Realme GT 8 Pro comes in Diary White, Urban Blue, and Aston Martin Racing Green. The Diary White variant measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 218g, while the Urban Blue variant measures 8.3mm and weighs 214g. The handset stands 161.80mm tall and 76.87mm wide, offering a balanced profile despite its large battery capacity.
Realme GT 8 Pro price in India and availability
The Diary White variant starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, with a pre-order price of ₹72,999.
The higher 16GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at ₹86,999, and is available at a pre-order price of ₹78,999.
The Urban Blue model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at ₹79,999.
The top-end Aston Martin Racing Green variant, offering 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, is priced at ₹89,999, with a pre-order price of ₹79,999.
Pre-sale runs from November 20 to November 24 (11:59 pm), with shipping commencing from November 24.
Realme GT 8 Pro display
Realme equips the GT 8 Pro with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display, offering a QHD+ resolution of 3136×1440 pixels. The screen provides a 94.20% screen-to-body ratio, a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate, with a default 120Hz setting. It supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 10-bit colour depth with 1.07 billion colours, and a 508 PPI pixel density. Brightness peaks at an impressive 7000 nits, with 2000 nits HBM and a typical 1000 nits normal brightness, making it one of the brightest displays in the segment.
Realme GT 8 Pro battery
The Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by a 7000mAh Titan Battery, designed to provide extended endurance for heavy users. Charging speeds include 120W Ultra Charge and 50W wireless charging, ensuring rapid top-ups whether wired or wireless.
Realme GT 8 Pro camera specifications
The Realme GT 8 Pro features a triple rear camera system powered by RICOH GR, consisting of a 50MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.0 aperture, 116° field of view and a 6P lens; a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 90° field of view and a 7P lens; and a 200MP telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, 36° field of view and a 5P lens.
