Realme 17 Pro series tipped to get 10,000mAh battery, 200MP camera and 3.5x zoom

Realme could be preparing to introduce a major battery upgrade with its next-generation Pro-series smartphone. A fresh leak suggests that an upcoming handset, potentially launching as the Realme 17 Pro or Realme 17 Pro+, could feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, a 200-megapixel primary camera and a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor.
Although the Chinese smartphone maker has not officially confirmed the device or its specifications, the latest information points to significant upgrades over the existing Realme 16 Pro lineup.
The Realme 17 Pro series is expected to succeed the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+, which debuted in India in January 2026.
Realme 17 Pro could bring a massive battery upgrade
The biggest highlight of the latest leak is the possibility of a 10,000mAh battery, which would represent a substantial increase over the 7,000mAh batteries offered by both the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+.
Tipster Debayan Roy, known as @Gadgetsdata on X, has shared what he claims are confirmed specifications of an upcoming Realme smartphone. However, the exact model name remains uncertain, with the device potentially arriving as either the Realme 17 Pro or the Realme 17 Pro+.
If the leaked battery capacity turns out to be accurate, the handset could offer considerably more power for extended gaming, video streaming and everyday use.
Details regarding charging speeds, battery technology and expected battery life have not yet emerged.
200MP camera and telephoto lens tipped
Beyond the battery upgrade, Realme’s upcoming Pro-series smartphone could feature a triple rear camera system.
The setup is tipped to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom. An ultra-wide-angle camera could complete the rear camera arrangement.
The inclusion of a dedicated telephoto lens suggests that Realme may continue to focus on photography capabilities in its premium mid-range smartphone lineup.
For comparison, both the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ feature 200-megapixel primary rear cameras.
However, details about the new handset’s camera sensors, image-processing features and front-facing camera remain unavailable.
OLED display with up to 165Hz gaming support
The leaked specifications also suggest that the Realme 17 Pro series device could feature a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution.
The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate for regular use, potentially increasing to 165Hz in select compatible games.
While the display size has not been revealed, the existing Realme 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch screen, while the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a slightly larger 6.8-inch display.
The upcoming handset is also tipped to feature a plastic frame.
MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset expected
According to the leak, the smartphone could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 processor.
This would mark a change from the chipsets used in the current generation.
The Realme 16 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G processor, while the more expensive Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
However, the leaked information does not specify RAM configurations, internal storage options or software features.
Realme 17 Pro series: Expected launch and price
Realme has yet to announce the Realme 17 Pro series or reveal an official launch timeline for India.
The company introduced the Realme 16 Pro lineup in January 2026, with the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G priced from Rs 31,999 and the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G starting at Rs 39,999.
These prices provide some context for the brand’s existing Pro-series positioning, although there is no confirmed information about the pricing of the upcoming models.
With a possible 10,000mAh battery, high-resolution cameras and a faster gaming-oriented display, the next Realme Pro-series smartphone could bring notable hardware upgrades.
However, the specifications are based entirely on an unofficial leak, and the final features, model name and launch details will remain uncertain until Realme makes an official announcement.
