Oppo Reno 15 series launched globally with 200MP cameras, Android 16 and massive batteries

Oppo has expanded its Reno portfolio with the global launch of the Reno 15 Pro Max, Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15, with Taiwan among the first markets to receive the lineup. The new smartphones bring AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates, high-resolution selfie cameras, and upgraded camera hardware across the range. All three models ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and feature IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
The Reno 15 Pro Max sits at the top of the series, while the Reno 15 Pro and standard Reno 15 cater to slightly different performance segments. Notably, both Pro models are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 SoC, whereas the Reno 15 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro were earlier introduced in China in November.
Oppo Reno 15 Series: Price and colour options
In Taiwan, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max is priced at TWD 24,990 (around ₹71,000) for the sole 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It is available in Twilight Gold and Desert Brown finishes.
The Reno 15 Pro costs TWD 20,990 (approximately ₹60,000) and is offered in Aurora Blue and Desert Blue colour options.
The standard Oppo Reno 15 starts at TWD 17,990 (about ₹51,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version, while the 512GB variant is priced at TWD 19,990 (around ₹55,000). Buyers can choose between Aurora White and Sky Blue shades.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max: Specifications and features
The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max runs ColorOS 16 (Android 16) and features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 1,272 x 2,772-pixel resolution, 450ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset.
For photography, the phone houses a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and autofocus, complemented by a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, it sports a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, and multi-band satellite navigation support, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS. The handset supports both fingerprint authentication and facial recognition.
Powering the Reno 15 Pro Max is a 6,500mAh battery, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone measures 161.26 x 76.46 x 7.65mm, weighs about 205g, and carries an IP69 rating for enhanced durability.

The Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 share the same software experience as the Pro Max but differ in display size, hardware, and camera configurations.
The Reno 15 Pro features a 6.32-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with 460ppi pixel density and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Reno 15 comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel offering the same resolution and refresh rate.
In terms of performance, the Reno 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Reno 15 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, coupled with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Camera hardware also varies between the two. The Reno 15 Pro includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Dimension-wise, the Reno 15 Pro measures 151.21 x 72.42 x 7.99mm and weighs around 188g, while the Reno 15 comes in at 158 x 74.83 x 7.77mm, tipping the scales at 197g.
