OPPO has expanded its mid-range smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the OPPO A6 Pro 5G, a new A-series device focused on battery life, fast charging, and durability. The smartphone arrives as a strong contender in the under-Rs 25,000 segment, offering a massive battery, a high refresh rate display, and 5G connectivity.

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at Rs 23,999. As part of launch offers, OPPO is providing an instant discount of up to Rs 2,000 on select bank cards, including HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and AU Small Finance Bank.

OPPO A6 Pro 5G launch date in India and features

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G has been launched in India on Monday. The device supports dual SIM and is aimed at everyday users, gamers, and content consumers alike.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, offering the latest software experience.

The device features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and peak brightness of 1,125 nits, making it suitable for smooth scrolling and outdoor usage. One of its standout additions is the IP69 rating, providing high-level protection against dust and water.

In terms of photography, the OPPO A6 Pro 5G specs include a 50MP primary rear camera supported by a 2MP monochrome sensor, while the front houses a 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup supports video recording up to 1080p at 60fps.

The biggest highlight among OPPO A6 Pro 5G features is its 7,000mAh battery, paired with 80W fast charging, which OPPO claims can fully charge the device in about 64 minutes. Despite the large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at 8.6mm thickness and weighs 216 grams.
