Motorola has launched its newest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G Power (2026), in select global markets, marking a refreshed iteration rather than a radical overhaul. Positioned as the successor to the Moto G Power (2025), the new model continues to focus on long battery life and a large display, while introducing subtle hardware and design tweaks.

The smartphone has been announced for markets such as the US and Canada, targeting users looking for reliable performance and endurance at an accessible price point.

Moto G Power (2026) price and availability

The Moto G Power (2026) has been priced at $299.99 (approximately ₹25,000) in the US, while Canadian buyers can pick it up for CAD 449.99 (around ₹29,550). Availability begins in the US and Canada first, with other markets yet to be confirmed.

Sales in both markets will begin on January 8, with availability through Motorola’s official website and selected online and offline retailers.

Moto G Power (2026) performance and software

At its core, the Moto G Power (2026) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, featuring a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU paired with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The handset ships with Android 16 out of the box. In terms of memory, the phone packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which can be expanded virtually up to 24GB using Motorola’s RAM Boost feature. Storage stands at 128GB of built-in UFS 2.2 memory, with support for microSD card expansion up to 1TB, offering ample room for apps, media and files.

The Moto G Power (2026) is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring optical image stabilisation, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, Motorola has upgraded the front camera to a 32MP sensor.

The camera setup is backed by AI-powered features such as Auto Night Vision, Portrait mode, Auto Smile Capture and Shot Optimisation, aimed at enhancing overall image quality across different lighting conditions.

The Moto G Power (2026) features a large 6.8-inch display with a 19.9:9 aspect ratio. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels, delivering a pixel density of 387ppi. The screen supports a screen-to-body ratio of 0.91 and includes a High Brightness Mode that can reach up to 1,000 nits, ensuring improved outdoor visibility. Protection on the front is handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Battery life remains a key highlight of the Moto G Power (2026). The smartphone packs a 5,200mAh battery, which Motorola claims can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. The device supports 30W charging, allowing users to top up the battery at a faster pace when needed.

In terms of design, the Moto G Power (2026) features a leather-inspired vegan leather finish on the rear, paired with a plastic frame. The handset measures 166.62 x 77.10 x 8.72mm and weighs 208 grams.

Durability is another area of focus, with the smartphone offering IP68 and IP69 ratings for underwater and dust protection, making it suitable for tougher usage environments. Colour options for the Moto G Power (2026) include Pure Cashmere and Evening Blue.
