iPhone 17 Pro at Rs 69,990, Pro Max at Rs 74,990: Should you buy it?
The launch of Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max has brought renewed attention to the previous-generation models, with Croma rolling out exchange and bank offers on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Under the latest promotion, the effective price of the iPhone 17 Pro 256GB falls to Rs. 69,990, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB can be brought down to Rs. 74,990. Both prices are conditional and require customers to combine multiple benefits.
iPhone 17 Pro: Effective price and benefits
Croma’s offer covers the 256GB and 512GB versions of the iPhone 17 Pro. The effective store prices are:
- iPhone 17 Pro 256GB: Rs. 69,990
- iPhone 17 Pro 512GB: Rs. 88,490
The advertised rates include a Rs. 4,000 cashback available on select credit cards. Customers can also exchange an iPhone 15 Pro for a value of up to Rs. 44,500, subject to the device’s model and condition.

Croma is also scheduled to sell the iPhone 17 Pro through its website from September 15. The online effective prices are listed at Rs. 1,26,490 for the 256GB version and Rs. 1,45,990 for the 512GB model. These prices include the applicable cashback and may differ from the store offer, which factors in exchange benefits.

iPhone 17 Pro Max: Effective prices
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is available under the same retail promotion, with the following effective store prices:
- iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB: Rs. 74,990
- iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB: Rs. 94,990
To reach these prices, customers must use the Rs. 4,000 cashback offer on eligible credit cards and exchange an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The exchange value can reach Rs. 53,000, depending on the handset’s model and condition.

The offer also provides an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 12,000.
For online purchases, Croma lists the iPhone 17 Pro Max at Rs. 1,39,990 for the 256GB variant and Rs. 1,59,990 for the 512GB model. These prices include the applicable cashback but do not account for the full exchange benefits offered in stores.

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 for the 256GB variant, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900. Flipkart is offering discounts of up to ₹8,000 on select listings, potentially bringing the effective starting prices to ₹1,56,900 and ₹1,71,900, respectively, before exchange benefits. Buyers can also avail of exchange offers of up to ₹65,150, depending on the old device’s model and condition.
