200MP camera, 6500mAh battery: Oppo Reno 15 Pro set for India launch

Oppo’s next major premium mid-range smartphone, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro, is gaining global attention ahead of its expected India launch in Q1 2026. The device first debuted in China on November 17, 2025, at CNY 3,699 (approx. ₹46,000), while the India price is tipped to be around ₹47,990.
Premium cameras with 200MP flagship sensor
The China variant of the Reno 15 Pro features a powerful triple-camera setup, including:
- 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor with OIS
- 50MP ultra-wide camera
- 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom
This flagship-grade camera system is one of the device’s strongest selling points as Oppo continues pushing photography innovations in the high-end mid-range segment.
Big battery, fast charging
The smartphone packs a 6500mAh battery, offering up to 1 day of heavy usage. It supports:
- 80W wired fast charging
- 50W wireless charging
For India, speculation suggests up to 120W wired charging could be offered.
Display upgrades expected for India
The Chinese model sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display with:
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 1.5K resolution
- 1800 nits peak brightness
- IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance
However, reports hint that the Indian/global variant may feature a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a faster 144Hz refresh rate, lining it up with premium 2026 flagships.
The China variant runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB storage, powered by Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
For India, Oppo is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, offering a significant performance jump and better global optimisation.
