Bengaluru: It’s been an 18-year wait for the RCB, while for the PBKS, this marks only the second time they have reached the IPL final, their first entry way back in 2014 when they narrowly lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by a mere three wickets.

However, excitement knows no bounds because it is the much-anticipated IPL final, and RCB fans, especially in Karnataka, just cannot hold themselves back.

The latest to join the bandwagon is a minister, echoing support and love for the RCB players as they make it to the IPL finals 2025.

Forest, Ecology, and Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre has showcased his endearing love and respect for the Bengaluru-based franchise, exuding full confidence in their chances. “RCB has entered the finals, and I wish them success. I am 100 per cent sure they will win the trophy”, Khandre said.

About the finals: The final match is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. What is to be noted is that whichever side wins, the victorious team will be fortunate enough to lift their maiden IPL title. RCB have been here before three times, in fact, but fell short on each occasion in 2009, 2011, and 2016.

RCB makes history this season: This season, RCB achieved a remarkable feat by winning every away match during the league stage, a first for any team in IPL history. They also ended previous losing streaks at Chepauk against CSK and at Eden Gardens against KKR.

Khandre’s meeting with Anil Kumble: Minister Khandre also shed light on a recent visit from the iconic Indian cricketer Anil Kumble to his residence. The former captain of the Indian cricket team has now embarked on a new venture that combines sports with sustainability, the minister said.
