Kerala Blasters featured in ‘Swiss list’ of top 100 clubs in world with most social media followers

Kerala Blaster FC (KBFC) team has been featured in Switzerland-based independent research group CIES Football Observatory‘s tally on the top 100 clubs in the world with the most followers on four social networks--Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. With more than 6.7 million followers, KBFC is the only Indian club to be featured in the pre-summer break tally of CIES Football Observatory‘s Weekly Post.

“It is indeed a great achievement for our Club. It is a reflection of the club’s constant efforts to innovate digitally and find meaningful ways to connect and engage with our wonderful fanbase. There are ongoing efforts to further grow the Club’s brand and fan base beyond India. In the coming years, with pre-season tours and exposure matches being planned in the Middle East and South East Asia and exciting partnerships with global brands. We are well placed to tap into the Top 50 very soon,” said KBFC’s director Nikhil Bhardwaj.

Keralite and Team India wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson was recently roped in as the brand ambassador of the club. ‘Swiss list’ featuring is expected to woo enjoyers of football, especially KBFC fans.
