Haaland's unique strength training: Chopping woods in the mountains during break time

Unlike many other European footballers who were busy playing for their country at the Euros, Erling Haaland, the star striker of Manchester City, had a relatively quiet summer as his home country Norway failed to qualify for the marquee tournament.
However, Haaland wasn't sitting idle. According to a video posted on Manchester City's X Handle, the 23-year-old striker spent his break cutting wood in the mountains, a strength training regimen prescribed by his father Alf Inge.
In the short video, Haaland smiles as he acknowledges that he was possibly doing the most Norwegian thing he could during his time back home. The motivational video is currently winning hearts on the internet.
Meanwhile, Haaland is looking forward to overcoming his injury concerns as he aims for another impressive season with Manchester City in the English Premier League. His team will kick off their 2024-25 pre-season in North Carolina against Celtic on July 23.
In pursuit of a record-extending fifth league title, Manchester City will begin their title defence on August 18 at home against Chelsea.
Transfer Rumours
Meanwhile, Haaland has dismissed the possibility of joining Real Madrid following Kylian Mbappe's move to the Santiago Bernabeu, citing his reluctance to share the spotlight with the Frenchman. Instead, he is contemplating a potential move to Barcelona next summer, according to El Nacional in Spain.
