‘Now make some noise!’: Rasikh Salam’s fiery send-off to Travis Head sparks Virat Kohli frenzy

Rasikh Salam Dar dramatically turned the tables during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) IPL 2026 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Friday.
After being smashed for three consecutive boundaries by SRH opener Travis Head, the young RCB pacer produced the perfect response, a toe-crushing yorker that sent the stumps flying and stunned the Hyderabad crowd.
However, it was Rasikh’s fiery celebration that grabbed almost as much attention as the wicket itself.
The pacer gestured towards the crowd with his hand near his ear, seemingly asking the fans to raise the noise after silencing SRH’s dangerous opener.
The cameras then caught Virat Kohli erupting in celebration, with the former RCB captain looking even more pumped up than the bowler himself. Head’s explosive cameo ended at 26 off just 16 deliveries, packed with five boundaries.
Earlier in the evening, SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first against the defending champions.
RCB welcomed back captain Rajat Patidar after he missed the previous match due to concussion, while SRH retained the same XI.
Having already sealed a playoff berth, RCB entered the contest high on confidence after becoming the first team to qualify for the IPL 2026 playoffs.
