IPL 2025 final: RCB sets 190 target against PBKS

Ahmedabad: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) scored a total of 190/9 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final match of 8th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 in Ahmedabad here on Tuesday. Virat Kohli top-scored with 43 off 35 balls while skipper Rajat Patidar couldn't build on a good start managing 26 off 16 balls.
For Punjab Kings, Yuzvendra Chahal was brilliant with figures of 1/37 in 4 overs while Kyle Jamieson had the figures of 3 for 48. Arshdeep Singh (3/40) got three wickets in the final over.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah attended the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, accompanied by his wife, daughter, and mother.
Virat Kohli’s "lady luck" and actress Anushka Sharma was also in the stands to cheer for RCB.
Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was present with his wife, Akshata Murty, to cheer for RCB. Sunak took to X and posted a selfie with his wife and captioned the post, "Let's go @RCBTweets."
Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL final. A win for Bengaluru will end a title drought for Virat Kohli with hundreds of his fans filling the world's biggest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad.
