From glamour to grandeur: What happened at Arjun Tendulkar’s Ambani-hosted pre- wedding bash?

Jamnagar: Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani recently hosted the Tendulkar family at their Jamnagar residence for an intimate pre-wedding ceremony ahead of the marriage of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok.

The private gathering, attended by close friends and family members, was held to bless the couple before their wedding. A video shared by the Mumbai Indians later confirmed that the visit to Jamnagar was linked to the upcoming nuptials.

Sachin Tendulkar reflected on his son entering a new phase of life, noting that a parent recognises maturity when a son introduces the woman he plans to marry.

Nita Ambani, who has known Arjun Tendulkar since childhood, extended a warm welcome to Saaniya Chandhok into the extended family circle. The ceremony featured traditional puja rituals and prayers to Lord Ganesha, underscoring the family’s emphasis on custom and tradition.

Traditional attire and wedding details

For the occasion, Nita Ambani wore a gold and purple saree paired with a red blouse and statement jewellery. Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok opted for traditional ensembles in keeping with the ceremonial setting.

The couple got engaged in August 2025 and are set to marry on March 5. Pre-wedding celebrations are scheduled to begin on March 3, with festivities expected to blend family traditions and close-knit celebrations.
