Will always remain a Congressman, Unnithan dismisses speculations about joining BJP

Kasaragod: Dismissing the claims made by BJP leader Padmaja Venugopal, Rajmohan Unnithan, the UDF candidate from Kasaragod, reaffirmed his commitment to the Congress party. Unnithan stated that he would remain a member of Congress until his final breath.
"I have a good father. I was born to that father. I will be a congressman till I die. Whether I become an MP or not, I will not leave the Congress party until I die," Unnithan said.
He stressed that despite the party not providing him with opportunities for 65 years, he remained steadfast in his commitment. "Now the party has given me everything," he added.
Unnithan further stated his complete satisfaction with the Congress party, asserting that he has no desire for anything else. He dropped a subtle hint to Padmaja that he had something to discuss with her, cautioning that if she kept provoking, she might not be prepared for the consequences.
