Congress in Kerala backs BJP, stands with ED: Pinarayi

Alappuzha: Targeting the Congress once again, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the Congressmen in Kerala have a supportive stance on the BJP. Stating that the Congress has always stood with the Central Government, he also sought to know if they had ever questioned the Centre’s stand against the State.
The Chief Minister also alleged that the Congress was always finding fault with the State Government, while speaking at the election campaign of Mavelikkara LDF candidate C A Arun Kumar at Bharanikkavu.
“The Central investigation agencies are on a hunting spree across the country. They have arrested even Kejriwal. The Congress’ question was why Kejriwal was not arrested when Delhi deputy chief minister Maneesh Sisodia was arrested last year by the ED…” he said.
“These agencies are targeting all the Opposition parties. They are coming after the Congress also. The congress will oppose them when they go against it until then, it will stand by these agencies,” Vijayan continued. “It is good that the Congress has participated in the protest rally in Delhi against Kejriwal’s arrest. But is there any change in their stance,” he asked.
When the ED issued notice against Thomas Isaac and the KIIFB, the Congress as well as the Leader of the Opposition stood with the national agency, and they have always supported the Sangh Parivar, he alleged.
Kerala’s voice should be heard in the Parliament and the Congress is incapable of doing it, he added.
