YouTuber Brandon Buckingham has been moved to intensive care after suffering a sudden and severe deterioration in his health, sharing an alarming update with his followers on November 21. The 30-year-old creator posted a message on X revealing multiple organ failure as doctors work to stabilise his condition.

“In the ICU, my heart is failing, my lungs are failing, my liver and kidneys are failing. Things are not looking good my friends. I love you guys,” he wrote, prompting an outpouring of concern from fans and fellow influencers.

Condition worsens after initial signs of improvement

Buckingham’s latest update came just two days after he disclosed that doctors suspected a combination of tuberculosis, septic pneumonia and possible liver failure. “Pray for me guys,” he said earlier this week.

The sudden decline contrasts sharply with a message he posted on November 10, when he appeared optimistic about his recovery. Sharing a photo from his hospital bed, he wrote: “I’m out of the hospital for now and my condition seems to have stabilized. God willing, in a few weeks I will be able to start improving.”

It remains unknown what triggered the YouTuber’s rapid health collapse or how long his symptoms had been developing.

Recent mental-health struggles

Buckingham had previously been open about his mental-health challenges. In late September, he told followers that he had not been coping well, especially after the death of his grandmother.

“I haven’t been in a good place for a bit… I am struggling with my mental health,” he wrote, adding, “I feel I have more people waiting for me in heaven than here on earth… I love you grandma, say hi to Kyle for me. I wish I could die with you.”
