A video taken by a survivor onboard a Delta Airlines plane has gone viral on social media, showing a terrifying scene inside the aircraft after it crashed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. In the footage, a female passenger can be seen suspended upside down in her seat after the plane flipped over during landing.

Passenger Pete Koukov shared a video on Instagram showing his rescue from inside the plane after it crashed. The footage shows emergency responders evacuating passengers from the upside-down aircraft, with a fire engine spraying water on the plane from outside. In the video, a distressed passenger is heard saying, "I was in a plane crash. Oh my God."

Delta Airlines flight crash details

The crash took place at approximately 2:15 pm on Monday, causing significant disruptions at the airport, which handles the most passengers of any Canadian airport. All flights were grounded for nearly two and a half hours following the incident.

A Delta Airlines flight, originating from Minneapolis and en route to Toronto, overturned on landing, resulting in 19 people being injured, including a child in critical condition. The flight, which carried 76 passengers and four crew members, was a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR. The plane landed on its roof on the snowy tarmac at Toronto Pearson Airport around 3:30 pm.
